Have Questions?

Below you’ll find the most common questions and answers to help you understand how my services work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of coaching do you offer?

I offer Career & Wellbeing Coaching. You can find more information about it on my Services page as well.

My work focuses on helping individuals gain clarity, manage stress and overwhelm, navigate career or life transitions, build confidence, and make decisions that feel aligned with their values and strengths.

While I have a strong HR background and can share insights when relevant, my coaching is not about giving direct advice or instructions. It is a collaborative, reflective partnership designed to support sustainable personal and professional growth.

Is this the right support for me?

My coaching may be a good fit if you:

  • Want to improve self-awareness, confidence, and boundaries

  • Are navigating a transition (career change, role change, relocation, or personal shift)

  • Want to improve performance, step into leadership, or develop leadership skills

  • Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next career step

  • Are experiencing stress, burnout, or loss of motivation at work

My coaching may not be the right fit if you are specifically looking for:

  • CV writing or editing

  • Interview preparation or mock interviews

  • Job application or recruitment strategy

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching focuses on the present and future, supporting you to move towards your goals through awareness, reflection, and action. It does not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.

Depending on your needs, you may choose coaching or therapy, and coaching can also work alongside therapy if this feels appropriate and supportive for you.

What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?

Coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on you. It is not about giving advice or telling you what to do. Instead, the coach supports you in developing self-awareness, clarity, and insight through thoughtful questions, reflection, and exploration. The agenda comes from you, and the goal is sustainable, self-directed change.

Mentoring is more guidance-based. A mentor shares their own experience, knowledge, and advice, often showing what has worked for them in a specific role, industry, or career path. Mentoring can be more directive and is shaped by the mentor’s expertise.

In short:

  • Coaching helps you discover your own path

  • Mentoring shows you a path that has worked for someone else

While I have a strong HR background and can share insights when appropriate, my primary role as a coach is to partner with you in building your own clarity, confidence, and direction.

How often do coaching sessions take place?

I usually recommend bi-weekly sessions for career coaching and weekly sessions for wellbeing coaching. This allows enough time for reflection, integration, and experimentation between sessions while maintaining continuity.

That said, session frequency can be flexible and adjusted based on your needs and circumstances.

How long is each coaching session?

Each coaching session lasts 60 minutes.

Do you offer a free discovery session?

Yes. I offer a free discovery call where we explore what you are looking for, how coaching works, and whether we are a good fit to work together. There is no obligation to continue after this call.

How much does coaching cost?

I primarily work with coaching packages, as meaningful and sustainable change usually requires continuity rather than one-off sessions.

What coaching packages do you offer?

My standard package consists of 6 bi-weekly coaching sessions.

The sessions must be completed within a maximum of six months.

This structure allows enough time for reflection, integration, and meaningful progress while maintaining momentum.

Depending on your needs and goals, longer packages with additional sessions are also available.

How does payment work?

When coaching is booked as a package, payment is made in monthly instalments.

For the standard six-session package:

  • The total package fee is paid over three months

  • The monthly payment is £120 per month

This means the full six-session package is paid within three months, while the sessions themselves can be completed within six months.

For larger packages, discounted session rates are available, with monthly payments starting from £100. Details are shared once we discuss your needs and agree on the most suitable package.

Current prices are valid for a limited period and will be reviewed and increased after June 2026.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Further details will be provided once we confirm the coaching agreement.

What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?

That’s completely okay. Coaching is a personal choice, and the discovery call is there to help you decide without pressure. You are always encouraged to take time to reflect before committing.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. Everything shared during coaching sessions is treated as confidential, in line with professional coaching ethics. The only exception would be situations involving serious risk of harm.

Where do sessions take place?

All coaching sessions are currently offered online, making them accessible regardless of location.

How do I book a session?

You can book a free discovery call by contacting me via the form below. After the discovery call, we will decide together on next steps.
